Luminous Amber + Gilson Lab Opal Pendant

An amazing pendant set with Gilson Lab Opal (that has an unusual translucence and iridescence) in seamless inlay. There is a layer of Amber under the Opal giving the material a Golden, Amber hue. 
   The inlay is set into a beautiful reticulated metal base that is free form and part of my series of jewelry inspired by futuristic renditions of art. 
  *** This Lab Opal will likely be the last time you’ll see this as I can no longer find this material. It is my favorite and I am sad to no longer be able to use it as much as I have.
     Each earring measures 2&1/2” inches long by 1&3/4” inches at the widest. Sterling silver, signed.
